Does anyone else watch this show?  I watch it and think where did they get these contestants from.  The last episode with the guy with the folding guitar and they offered him half a million for controlling interest in the company....I would have gone with that and used that money as capital to start another business plus he still would have owned 49 percent of the company.

The first episode where the young guys from college hunks hauling junk wanted half a million for 5 percent of foxes packing boxes or whatever it was called without offering part of the mildly successful junk hunks business.  I would have packaged that also....

I once read that inventors are normally poor business people because they are in love with their product.

What does anyone else think of the show and my opinions of the contestants thus far.

Hello Jaiart!

totally LOVE the show!  ADDICTED!!  LOVED the two brothers last night.  I'm not a "techy" person, so I didn't really understand their internet business model, but Robert and Kevin O sure did.  I think they made a great deal!

I LOVE WATCHING SHARK TANK!

I never miss an episode! I am addicted. I keep thinking about filling out an application to be on the show... but I go back and forth. My new product really has hardley any sales yet, because we just started and don't really know what way to advertise with it.

But I've seen products be a hit on the show with hardly any sales. But sometimes they say no thanks, because there aren't any sales numbers.... I guess you never know.

Part of me really wants to try it.....

I will keep considering it and definatley keep watching!

I know Shrinkins!  This goes back to the age old question....  Is there really such a thing as "bad" publicity?  I don't know.  Regardless, SOOOO love the show!  I'm  proud to say Allison (the Coverplay gal in red) is a friend of mine.  They did awesome!

Leslie,

All of us moms everywhere agree that COVERPLAY is a great product!

How is she doing since the taping of the show? Have they sold a bunch more?

Leslie,

That is so great! I think if you go on the show and they don't invest, you still will probably see a boost in your business, because of the visibility.........  ohh, I keep wondering if my product would be liked by the investors..... I'd hate to get on there and have them yell!! haha

Yeah, for something like this... you have to be prepared for the worst and hope for the best.   By the way, there is a show on TV LAND called "How'd you get so Rich".  I normally could take or leave Joan Rivers, but in this show she is HILLARIOUS!  There are a few episodes where she features a few of the sharks.  Just to get to know them better, check out this one to meet Robert Herjavec

and

This one to meet Kevin O Leary:

I'm hoping she'll do the other sharks too in upcoming episodes.
