So over Labor Day I was working on the salon and an elderly lady knocked on the window. She wanted to know when the shop would be open and if we offered a senior discount. Just curious if anyone here offers them and what % discount they offer.
My husband owns a landscape design and build firm and has always offered a 5% military and senior discount. Does not seem like a lot but on a 20k job it is 1000.00 off. I am not sure what you charge...how about make tuesdays "senior" tuesday and offer a 10% off. It has helped him get a contract over the "other guy". It is not just about the $, they also feel respected and makes them feel like they want to work with you.
