I am wondering if anyone has had or heard of any experiences from dealing with Cracker Barrel, as a wholesaler. I have been told a few times that my products would go over well in their stores and I`d like learn more about people`s dealings with them before I approach them.
Thanks!

I have never hear of Cracker Barrel, but what is your primary concern about working with the company?

I was actually looking into it myself. I haven`t had any personal dealing with them, so I am not for sure how they go about getting their items or who to contact. I do know that they ahve multiple vendors that deliver as well as not ever store carries the same items. As I am still in the process of researching it myself, I will let you know as soon as I find out anything. Or hopefully vise versa should you find out anything first.

Yeah, all I know is you can send info to the buyers and they will consider it. It is on their site - or at least it was a couple of months ago.

You might want to look for a sales rep or agency that has a relationship with them. Unsolicited products sent to CB almost never get a positive response. You might also look for a distributor that is currently selling to CB. More and more large retail operations are looking to trim the fat and aren`t interested in taking on new firms with only one or two SKUs. It`s a big headache for them to deal with a vendor that only sells them one or two items unless it`s something that is really unique and has a lot of potential.
