I understand that I need to do it in a commercial kitchen, is it true? Is there any way I can manufacture the chocolates at home?

If I only buy the chocolate and transform it into different shapes and figurines, do I need a permit or license for doing this? Even if I´m not baking or adding anything?

What´s the difference between license and permit?

Thanks!!!

I did a little searching and found this article: http://www.homebiztools.com/questions/food.htm

Wish I had a simple answer.

You may want to call up another small online food seller in your state (or if you're lucky, in your same town) that is NOT a competitor and they might be happy to tell you what hoops they had to jump through. A competitor might not be so friendly.

With so many places online where you can order cupcakes, ribs, and even fried turkeys, it shouldn't be too tough or expensive to comply with the rules.
