BUSINESS PLAN

FOR

Complete Painting Co.

Executive Summary

Complete Painting Co. will provide top quality, interior and exterior residential and commercial painting services. We will also provide top quality Steel buildings at competitive prices. We believe that most companies in this type of industry suffer from 3 major problems. They are poor retention of experienced employees; they price their painting projects to low to where they cannot afford to complete the project; and poor project scheduling. When a company has the above-mentioned problems within their business, it causes bad customer satisfaction, a reduction of word of mouth referrals and even possible lawsuits. Complete Painting Co. prides itself on giving excellent customer service, highly competitive pricing, and high quality work.

The objectives for Complete Painting Co. over the next 3 years are as follows:

To achieve sales revenues of approximately 1 million dollars by year three.

To expand the sales of the Painting company to be incorporated into the sale of Steel buildings.

To incorporate both the Painting company known as Complete Painting Co. and the Steel building company known as Complete Steel Co. into the same territory, which includes all of Ohio, All of Michigan and All of Kentucky.

Complete Painting Co. will create the following positions to enable the company to achieve its goals. Create four positions for Estimators to meet with the clients and sell the project at a competitive price. Create six positions for Painters to ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner to obtain high customer satisfaction and ensure a praiseworthy referral. Create two positions for Production Managers to go between projects and supervise employees and handle quality control issues as they arise.

Complete Painting Co. is a company that consists of two principal officers with a combination of 30 years of Industry experience. The company officers are Mr. Cristin Badgley, Owner and Ms Wendy Childress, Account executive.

The company is seeking a loan of $ 5 million dollars USD to cover the Upgrading and expansion of the Painting company to include the construction and sales of Steel buildings.

The company is currently located at 352 Brightmoor, temperance, Michigan. We are looking to acquire a lease on an office in another location to suit the needs of the company and our clients.

Complete Painting Co. offers a wide variety of services mainly focused on residential and commercial painting. The company also provides such services as: Plastering, Power washing, Custom deep based colors and faux finishes. The company prides itself in their customized painting to meet the needs of the client.

Dear mrcomplete:

A couple of comments:

1. Your projected revenue will not service a $5 million loan.

2. One key to success in high growth companies (especially startups) is focus. Generally, combining 2 seemingly separate businesses (painting and buildings) into one entity will diffuse focus. If there is synergy or other compelling reason to merge these 2 businesses - you should describe the benefits.

3. Just curious, what software was used to create the executive summary?

4. Did you use it to create the complete plan?

All the best,

Robert Johnson
