Skype 2.0 (and above) supports free phone conferencing. Similar to the AOL, MSN, etc. IM messanger downloads. Skype.com, owned by eBay, is a cross-platform conferencing solutions between Windows and Mac.

What is most important to me:

·        How to effectively work your networks and sphere of influence to win more business

To[ 3 Interest:

·        How to determine the "best leads" in your market place and go after their business

·        Creative financing - sellers concessions, gift money

·        Systems that work for your real estate business

Here is an article which you might find interesting.  It is an article on how dating rules can help your career in sales/real estate:

I agree so much with the article.  Thank you for this providing us with this link.  I have learned about this idea as "romancing."  When I am in a sales or any other business situation, I know I want to romance my client.

I am going to save this article and use it in the future to display the idea of romancing during my training sessions.  Thank you again.

I am an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) and am interested in working with Real Estate Professionals, Builders and Investors who flip houses to discuss ideas about how I could help you stage homes by having you send me photos and I could give you advice on what to do to make your homes look their best to appeal to the majority of buyers.  With most of the nation being in a real estate slow down, there are so many homes on the market that buyers can be pretty picky and they are!  You can make your homes stand out by staging them and making them memorable to buyers.  My company, Setting the Stage has successfully staged hundreds of homes in the Seattle area.  Many of those homes have sold in less than 48 hours and for more than the listing price.  Do you see this as a service you could use?  The cost of staging is thousands of dollars less than the first price reduction! I would love to hear from you if you`re interested.

I am definitely interested in following your real estate discussions.  I am starting a marketing / advertising for FSBOs and am looking for as much real estate knowledge as I can attain.

Maybe create a poll to decide the most popular / relevant topics to discuss.

Along the line of the above quote have any of you read the December 25, 2006/January 1, 2007 edition of Business Week? They have an article on "Curb Your Enthusiasm About A Recovery: Home prices still have room to decline..." pg 114.

The article made a statement that "right now is not the ideal time to buy or move up, even with the recent price declines."  I disagree because: a person who is a homeowner has networth that a renter doesn`t; in some instances a homeowner has tax advantages a renter doesn`t; and given the increase of residential housing inventory there are more homes for buyers to select from; and despite recent rate increases the interest rates are still low.

I was sent an email regarding a recent public real estate community teleconference on "How to select, target and dominate your farm area" http://www.jointodd.com/farming/

I will forewarn you, it does have a sales pitch for the speaker`s one on one marketing coach services, programs and direct mail system.  It also mentions some types of marketing I personally wouldn`t incorporate in my marketing plan.  Specifically I don`t agree with using robo calls because they irritate people and I don`t want to risk calling someone who is registered on the federal "Do Not Call list".

What do you think of the teleconference`s content?

I am interested in RE discussions. Mostly the investing side.

I have a bit over 20 years as an investor. US and UK property.

As to topics, I am open to most that have been suggested. A few of them I could lead a discussion on including the use of an IRA account for RE investing.
