Hi all

I am seeking information on the DIY Auto Repair Industry in the US.

This is for a research project for a start-up.

Here is what I need to figure out:

1) What are some of the main challenges DIYers face when fixing a car?

2) What type of cars do DIYers like to fix?

Hope someone can help me with this

Thanks!

DIY auto repair guys and girls mainly repair cars, 4x4s and SUVs, but there are a smaller group of DIY auto repairers who specialise in repairing trucks. There is a growing interest in this side of it, but many are not insured to drive trucks. This can cause a problem is they need to test driver the trucks. Check out HGV training courses for how to solve this problem.
