Seeking operating/start-up capital - there is $50K to back up what is needed (need additional $200K). Disabled vet, with little collateral other than the $50K.  My credit scores are: 659, 704 and 711.

My business is in the marketing of a new construction item (none currently on the market). I have a business/marketing plan and a local manufacturer.
Any suggestions where I can get this capital?

Thanks, and I wish you all a blessed and peaceful Christmas and prosperous New Year!

Have you tried going to your bank or SBA? Your credit is above 660, so that is a good start. Alot of folks suggest Prosper.com, but i would try your local bank first or SBA backed loan. Merry Christmas to you as well!

Find a bank lender who is participating in the SBA`s new Patriot Express program which targets military veterans.  The collateral and underwriting criterion are supposed to be a bit more flexible.
