Unlike most start ups I completely built the cart before the horse and have been anxiously awaiting all the orders to get the opportunity to use my wonderful facility. Alas they have not come. Still we are prepared for the take off just running out of time financially to make it happen.
I have been working on ideas to get the public more on board and here are a few:
Our brand is Savory Secret which I don`t mind we just need a great tag line to help
Savory Secret..a new sensation in cheese - versus our usual Savory Secret it is an appetizer cheesecake not a dessert, no it is not sweet, yes you eat it as an appetizer, no it doesn`t have sugar, it has herbs, it is Savory which means not sweet, yes I know we call it a cheesecake, it is in the technical sense, ok just have a taste and see what you think.
creating packages with other items that make for food indulgences
changing the website to focus on wine and beer pairings with our cheeses
collaborating with wine tastings
promoting the entire mood and occassion that our products create for events and parties
One issue is that the lovely state of TN does not allow the sale of food with wine/spirits so we do not have the cute wine gourmet shops like other places. So no wine/food tastings at wine stores but surely there are some that have parties somewhere.
