Presenting the most information that we can about our product. That means pictures, description, details, and whatever else we can think of. That, and making it optional as to how far viewers would like to go for the various levels of detail. That`s what`s worked best, given that we`re entirely online.

What hasn`t worked has been turnkey "stores" where we have no control over the template. Ours is a personalized product, and there usually isn`t such a category in anyone else`s paradigm of e-commerce.

It depends too on what you`re selling. I don`t have any one single sales tactic that works best-there are lots of different factors that come into play like the product/service, the situation, the party to whom I`m trying to make a sale, etc.

I`ve read tons of sales books--lots of them very good but I don`t think I`ve ever found a single tactic that always works (well...except for honesty, integrity and sincerity).

That`s a super-broad question! It`s kind of like asking a football player, "what football tactic has worked best for you guys?"

So let me throw some questions on the table: What do you sell? What type of selling do you do? (new business development, account management, B2B, B2C, retail, telemarketing, etc., etc., etc.). What is the sales cycle of your product/service? Who do you sell to?

Thanks!
