Being a new company in a pretty competitive category you need to create something powerful enough to create the attention and then drive them to action. I would create something that will include pictures of events, (preferably ones that you were included in planning), as well as testimonials. These both lend credibility to what you do.

Are you saying "mail out" or "email?"  Having just spent several thousand dollars on marketing products, I can tell you that I prefer to do email marketing more than snail mail.  We will be attending 5 or 6 trade shows this year so I have to have information to hand out.  How are you planning to introduce yourself to prospects?  Do you have any kind of website?

A sales package is a nice idea. It should include a background of your company. It should contain your company profile, history, list of clients, awards, and testimonials as well. This will add credibility to your company. Aside from this, you should include a presentation of the past events that you`ve planned and executed. Choose different types of events to showcase like corporate events, birthdays, weddings, etc. This will show that your services are not limited to a specific event. You should also include the different packages that you are offering, make sure that the prices are accurate and updated. Of course, include your business card in the package.
