Also, check out a recent StartupNation radio show with the COO of the Jane Goodall Foundation, Rob Menzi.

He talks about how non-profits are run very similarly to for-profit businesses. You`ll pick up some terrific insights.

As President of a non profit, whatever your Board decides is affordable to be paid, that`s it.  We have one paid employee, our Executive Director, the rest are volunteers.

The less you spend on staffing, the better your odds of getting a grant.  You do not say what kind of non profit.  Non profit management is an art.  Pun intended...
