Chapter one was a pretty good read.

Think I read this book when I was 13 or 14, it is just as good today as it was then.

Speedy work Elids!  Glad to have you on board!

It is interesting that the original recommendation was to distribute this reading amongst students!  Kudos to the one who placed it in your hands at such an early age!

If it`s not written in stone, then I`d propose we might use Monday for discussions, giving folks the weekend and so on. Why not have that first discussion Monday, 11/27....after the Thanksgiving holiday has closed out, and "The Most Biggest & Huge Shopping Day of All Time" has faded into debt-ridden memory? :-)

If that works better for all, then Monday it is!

Ultimately, I am hoping to cover at least 3 chapters each week.  Does that work for everyone?

(yes especially helpful to have the weekend to read with during this nutty time!)

So if we all agreee, we shall move the book club to Monday (*picks up enormous fake library facade from Friday and moves to Monday*)

Phew!

Think and Grow Rich

and "Success through a positiive mental attitude"  by Dr. Norman V. peale

were the two books that changed my life,  changed the way I looked at things.

I grew up in an environment that consisted of a negative attitude.   So both of these  books  are a must read.   Actually I will say I have gone through this information several times  and you get a different perspective each time.  I think the reason is because of what Stephen Covey said in  the 7 habits of effective people.

It isn`t what happens to us that effects us, it is our interpretation of what happens to us.  By changing our role (ie from student to teacher , this is why he insisted that we learn the information within the book, then teach it, then do it, because by becoming the teacher  your role has changed) we will see things from a differant perspective .

I will try to come back and fix  that sentence. out of time.
