The most important and google has been saying this for years but many ignore it ... Unique High Quality Content.. If your content is formatted properly with SEQ and PSAD then you will see increases in ranks regardless of how many backlinks you have.
This is where many get confused because they think slapping any content up and then doing 1,000 bookmarks it will get them top ranking. This is by far from the truth. Sure the bookmarks will help but with your content being at grade level 4 vs someone else with no backlinks and their content is at grade level 12 - guess who is going to rank better ??
There are many factors involved in SEO and yes it does take time. You can rank for any high competition keyword as long as you put the time in to get it. By using the factors that the search engines are asking for you will have a great deal easier time getting those ranks.

SEO is just like any full time job in that you get what you put in. It needs constant updating, and maintenance. And if you stop putting in a constant effort to maintain your rankings it will fall by the wayside.
SEO demands you to be consistent. SEO is a combination of too many elements and with every element being a crucial part of it. Even if you achieve your goals i.e you rank for certain keyword... but to remain and maintain your position you have to keep the activity going on... you just can't stop after reaching your fundamental goals.
i can attest to this. i have a dozen plus niche sites (i have also sold some in the past) all of which make passive income monthly. seo is the single biggest attribute of my success. that said, it takes a long time before your pages start gaining traction in search engines
SEO needs patience, you can't get desire results over night, its takes time to get high ranking on search engine especially if your desire keywords have high competition. On page SEO is one time task, but it has great impact on ranking so it should be done before starting off page SEO or link building.
We have been using Attracta was our SEO service because it's fairly inexpensive and seems to boost up our rankings every month. I was wondering if there was a better SEO service that is fairly inexpensive? Also, I've been looking at the backlinks of my competition that is ranked #1 in google across many keywords and been trying to also create backlinks at those same sites. Will that help my rankings?
