Focus even more on user. User friendly content became even more important with search engines  in 2011. The more users like a content, the better it will rank because search engines are looking at many usability signals such as bounce rate and social media signals to rate content. So I certainly need to step up my writing and content efforts to get better ranking.

Google is really pushing forcing businesses to have a Google + page.  With the new "Search Plus Your World" implementation a fews days ago, allowing a blend of G+ and Google searches in the SERPs, every business should consider building and maintaining a G+ profile page.

If you're already posting on FB and Twitter, make it a habit to post on G+ as well.

I read on SEO 2012 predictions that this year Google+ will take the lead when it comes to social media and Pinterest.
