Hi,
I am a newbie to this community of entrepreneurs and experts. I find the posts extremely informative. I wish I had found you guys sooner!
I am starting an online retailing business and at this stage I am really looking for a business advisor or mentor to get some feedback and guidance. I have already spoken to a few people - SCORE counselor, online, and even a venture capitalist ( a friend of one of my partners) who thinks we have a great idea. However, we need to get some advice on the business side of our venture. Can anyone recommend someone in the New York area, an organization, or the best places to find such a person?

SCORE is a great resource.  They can match your needs with the exec and the best skillset.  I`d follow through with them.
