I`m president of a large printing company that is owned by a corporation.  However, I`m starting up a retail tax prep service on the side.  I have enough cash to begin this low capitalization business without any loans.  I`m more concerned about stretching too thin between my high paying exec job and running a start up using hired staff.

Any suggestions on managing a nearby small office by remote?

Have you considered something like "Go To My PC?"

Business can never be remote THAT early. You will first have to spend time and effort on ensuring that have a list of clients. Once your business is established, you could hire some smart people and let them run the show, while you amble around looking for better prospects ( easier said than done!)

All the best !
