With the “Boomers” reaching retirement, I suspect there is an opportunity to help new retirees adjust to new romantic and intimate possibilities (and realities) that such a major lifestyle changes bring through offering weekend and vacation “romantic workshops”.
Among the many challenges, I
expect the main issue is credibility. To achieve legitimacy, my initial thought
is to approach professional marital and sexual therapists and authors to serve
as an advisory board. I envision this advisory board to help develop the
programs and share in the revenues.
I expect the hotels, cruises, recreational sites to help with the logistics of the weekend and vacation retreats. And I would think the marketing could be targeted relatively easily through A.A.R.P. and other retirement-focused media.
