Roll playing (practice) is ONLY the most important exercise one can do to become a specialist in a given field of business. I could give examples but I’m too tired tonight.
Think of it like this: We workout to building muscle and have a healthy and fit body. As a business person (whatever your avocation) why wouldn’t you work on building your business skills the same? Things like objection handling, business savvy, style, knowledge etc… Roll playing “in my opinion” is one of the most “valuable” exercises one can do to grow and learn. It truly is hard work.
Plato (Greek Philosopher) said that you learn to play the flute by playing the flute. “Practice” I say that you learn to ride a bike by riding a bike. “Practice” All the experts (athletic and otherwise) say that you can become the best through relentless practice. (Roll playing is “practice”)
I am surprised that this thread has not brought more of the entrepreneurial cream to the top. Maybe this community has become too advanced to work on fundamentals… Or maybe they’re just chicken.
