Does anyone have information as to how I might go about selling ringtones on my forum?  Is there a software I would load into my site?  Should I set myself up as a reseller?  Not really thinking I am going to produce a huge amount of revenue with such a venture, I am simply trying to enhance our forum with fun items for our users.

Thanks

I`d sign up at some affiliate networks (Copeac, etc.) and use the ringtone offers there. Most times you get a few cents to click, and leads can be up to... I want to say I`ve seen $5, but I never really looked into ringtones when I was interested in affiliate marketing.

Although, they may feel less "funner" doing it through that, I`d bet it`s a LOT cheaper (since you already have an active forum, I don`t see what costs there could be) than selling your own.

It may generate some nice little extra revenue, and I wish you luck

jesseMia has a good idea of luring in with the bait. similarly, consider selling higher profit margin products and offer free ringtones as a bonus! the idea of FREE is psychologically very effective.  it is the second most searched for work on the internet after the word "sex"
