Hello.

I`ve come across a sweet opportunity with an advertiser whereby I`m in the process of constructing a marketing and sales plan.

I`ve used their products in my business for nearly 10 years.  Their target market is geared mainly towards those in business - whether entrepreneurs or those working for an organization of some sort.

As a business consultant, I try to stay focused primarily on business development tools, mainly software-driven growth-related applications -- those which make business environments more productive / automated.

To grow this opportunity the way I want such that the advertiser benefits in customer conversion and sales volume, I`m pondering adding a revenue sharing element to my plan.  By that I mean, I am willing to split the commissions with others which can also be quite sweet.

To make these efforts successful, I must setup specific criteria in the plan.  Therefore, I`m looking for suggestions as this is the first time I`ve even considered revenue sharing. Results tracking is factored into the plan by the advertiser so I`ll be able to know whether all of our efforts are effective or not.

Although I look at this in a slightly different manner than I do in hiring a sales force, naturally, some of the basic criteria would apply including them (yes, it could be more than one) having a in-depth understanding of marketing, advertising and sales. Also, whoever I select must have a quality network of contacts who they feel can benefit from the product in order to provide the advertiser with significant results. They are not going to be selling the product per se, but they need to inspire others to find out more about the product. Therefore, they`ll be steering potential purchasers to the company that sells the product.  That company will handle everything else from that point.

So my preliminary questions are:

Q:  What is the best way to find trustworthy, motivated and reliable people who know how to and follows the rule of netiquette, telephone solicitation, fax marketing, E-mail marketing, etc. - bottom line:  NO SPAMMING?

Q: Where is the best place and how to seek out those folks?  Although I`m not pondering resumes`, I need to know who I`m dealing with, especially if they have not been referred by someone. Preferably, I would like referrals, but I don`t want to be that rigid.

Q: What is a good approach to ask and/or somewhat verify that the extent of their contact network is accurate and not hype?

Q:  What else should I be looking for?

Thanks in advance.
