Does anyone know where I can find maps that I can modify/include with a product I sell?

I`m looking for maps that I can put into a PDF and have this PDF for sale. The maps are not the whole product, I just need small sections. As far as modification, I need to be able to place marker points. Free would be desirable but if nothing exists then I`ll have to go the pay route.

I checked the USGS website, but I didn`t find anything there.

You`d have to pay for USGS maps. I don`t think the price is bad though. If you are looking for topographic map, there are some online sources. I have a friend who uses them and can ask if that is the types of map that you are looking for. Also, another friend of mine produces travel guides. She may know. I see this post is old but if you still need some info email me and I`ll see if my friends have some good sources.
