Beautiful site. However, I  can`t seem to find anything about the chit chat part. The chew part is pretty self explanitory.

I tried to find *something* to criticize, but I just couldn`t.  Your site rates a ten with me - extremely rare.

Hokey Spoons! This is a really nice re-work! :-) I remember the original site, where everyone had a problem figuring out how cookies related to talking.

This way is totally obvious. I really like the headlines with 1-sentence explanations. Nicer than bullets, and a bit unusual...so they`re more eye-catching, to me at least.

The "Chit-Chat" brand suddenly stands out as a brand, not to be mistaken for a forum, or some weird terminology.

Now: Go to this Keyword Density site, and put in your URL. Note that your top keywords are "chit," "chat," "brand," and so forth.

What *key* concept do you want to develop for your product. In other words, if you have 2 words to explain to a stranger on a train what it is you sell, AND that gets across the basic concept, what would they be?

With a really good site, an excellent new product, the next step is visibility. Put up a listing on SuN Marketplace, because those are being crawled readily by Google (at least) and will help get you some traffic.

Another thing we found was that you can go to Google and register your site, where they`ll give you some code to put in your root folder. That helps get you indexed more readily. We also believe (unsubstantiated) that by including Google Analytics in at least our main pages, we`re getting some help with visibility and rankings.

Some concepts you may want to use for keyword "themes" would involve "family relationships," "quality time with kids," "parenting," "help raising kids," and so forth. In other words, the psychology connection.

Finally, remember that Alt-Text tags in your images are a really terrific way to put in some key words where they won`t bother people viewing the site with their repetition. :-)

Wow I am so happy to see these comments!

jwatkins - I will have to take a look at how to make the "Chit Chat" more obvious (you should have seen it before...). We played with giving more time to the Chit Chat Cue Cards and will have to look at how we can possibly make it more defined.

Steve - That is fabulous to hear thanks!

Craig - Great comments and suggestions and you are right on point with me on the themes that are on my short list to target, they are literally on my list. I will be looking into the other things you mentioned and thanks for taking the time to look at it again.

Hi Netmom

Your site is one of the nicest I seen…  it really has a  “chit chat”  feel to it.  The images supported your overall theme very well.  It’s  warm and inviting and generates a connective family/friend energy. It seem as if you capsulated family  bonding all through your message.  Great Job, Great colors,  and Great name!!!

Thank you so much Jackie! Let`s hope I can convince the masses of that same thing.

I am glad you "got it". I am almost ready to exhale...

ElidS, I don`t see anything at that link, just a bunch of text.

Oh, wait, here it is ... you have too many letters on the URL.

Because you don`t have flash, right?

Eli, I think you said you use FireFox "plain," with no add-ins, so that you don`t get clutter? I do the same, and have the extension where I can get a "View this page in IE" on a right-click context menu.

I finally went ahead and accepted a Flash! plug-in, mostly because it`s just become too common to avoid. The upper blank area is a basic, not-too-distracting banner with a simple animation.
