Hokey Spoons! This is a really nice re-work! :-) I remember the
original site, where everyone had a problem figuring out how cookies
related to talking.
This way is totally obvious. I really like the headlines with
1-sentence explanations. Nicer than bullets, and a bit unusual...so
they`re more eye-catching, to me at least.
The "Chit-Chat" brand suddenly stands out as a brand, not to be mistaken for a forum, or some weird terminology.
Now: Go to this
Keyword Density site, and put in your URL. Note that your top keywords are "chit," "chat," "brand," and so forth.
What *key* concept do you want to develop for your product. In other
words, if you have 2 words to explain to a stranger on a train what it
is you sell, AND that gets across the basic concept, what would they be?
With a really good site, an excellent new product, the next step is
visibility. Put up a listing on SuN Marketplace, because those are
being crawled readily by Google (at least) and will help get you some
traffic.
Another thing we found was that you can go to Google and register your
site, where they`ll give you some code to put in your root folder. That
helps get you indexed more readily. We also believe (unsubstantiated)
that by including Google Analytics in at least our main pages, we`re
getting some help with visibility and rankings.
Some concepts you may want to use for keyword "themes" would involve
"family relationships," "quality time with kids," "parenting," "help
raising kids," and so forth. In other words, the psychology connection.
Finally, remember that Alt-Text tags in your images are a really
terrific way to put in some key words where they won`t bother people
viewing the site with their repetition. :-)
