We've actually been doing busines for approximately 2 years now. We have a number of products, one of which we are looking to discontinue selling through our own company. This is a software product which is able to be linked with, and adapted to, other existing software. Instead of us selling our product we would like to attempt to sell the license rights to other companies with compatible software who will then incorporate our product with theirs.
My question, do we need to register in every state in which these other companies are formed?
Any help or experience with this would be appreciated. Thank you.
