I live in the Bay Area, California and thought it would be cool if there was a section in this forum that had region based sections (ie Bay Area, California, Denver, Colorado, Miami, Florida, etc.).  This way entrepreneurial-minded people within a region could network for support and possibly start businesses together.

By the way...if there is anyone in the Bay Area looking to get to network for nothing else but support, please shoot me a message.

By region. For instance, I am in Texas. A good region would be TX, LA, OK, AR.

I like state, because it means I can actually travel in my car on a weekend and meet with someone.  For example Texas could have Houston, Dallas, and Austin.  If the region is too large, it makes it harder for people to get in touch.  Perhaps a section would start out with major cities and see what the response is and benifits are.  I know I`d love to have mentors and people I could meet with in my area in addition to this forum since I am just starting out.

What do you guys think?  And what`s the process to getting this actually implicated?

Better yet, Call them the State of Northern California and the State of Southern California.  I`m sure Californians would chuckle and agree with that.
