Hello,

My name is Adam.

I am a computer programmer in Northwest Indiana.  I come to your forums for two reasons, one I like to read and post about topics that I am interested in, which happens to be entrepreneurship, since I run my own web design/development company, and the second is to use you as an outlet to project my services on a larger community.  I have not yet had the opportunity to read the forums rules so I won`t spam you with my links or ad heavy signitures until I know how to do it in the manner which is acceptable to the boards.  I hope to gain some knowledge, and lend a hand where I can.  And to hopefully make a little extra money along the way.

The first thing you should do is fill out your profile. Google crawls it, and there`s a place where you can put in your Web link.

Secondly, develop an ad for the Startup Nation Marketplace. That too gets picked up a fair amount. In both cases, indicating that you`re a Web developer/designer will also provide people in the community with another option when it comes to using your services professionally.

But my own opinion is that if you maintain some level of activity here in the forums, you`ll likely get a fair benefit from being part of things. :-) Take a look at some of the Web critiques. They often could benefit from additional suggestions and ideas coming from people like yourself.
