I`m not super-techy, but I decided that I needed to get my brain around RSS feeds and what they could do for my freelance writing and my Family Travel blog.

I scan through a gazillion of them each day and always find great tidbits that I would have missed if the headlines were not being pushed to My Yahoo home page.

So, I did some poking around and wrote up a quick post about it on the blog (Shameless Plug Warning!)  Hope folks might find the info useful....

I`m not sure if you`re a Google user, but you might also find http://www.google.com/reader/view/ useful.  It`s Google`s version of a RSS reader in your browser.   Fans of Gmail might especially like the layout of the feature.  Just remember that it`s still in Beta.

I also like the RSS feeds. I may put some sports related RSS into my store.
