I believe everyone has a special skill or talent. What are some of yours? Can you play an instrument? Fix just about anything? This is the time to brag about it!

Good Morning Chris! I`ve been waiting for this thread so I can start my
week. :D

• Complete direct mail project, send invoice
• Follow up with a client on a past due invoice
• Contact a potential client that I know is looking for freelance help and
somehow convince them, I`m their girl.
• Contact another client who is gearing up for a major catalog revision
• Research SCORE - exactly how did any of you pick your SCORE
counselor ?
• Volunteer some time at daughter`s high school
• Pick up dog from vet where she had surgery - take care of her
• Go to the gym to work off all the food I ate over the long weekend!

Special skill or talent? Hmmm, I`ll have to think about that one.

I haven`t posted much lately, but I am reading in the shadows. I have taken on too many projects for my own business, as well as other businesses. It makes a decent profit, but my mail box of 300 emails a day is killing me. Most of them are from SuN. So by the time I read them, my comments have been already made by many great minds of the community.

Rock on guys. I will be crankin out some labor, this day after Labor day.

This week, I need to get back on track with everything.  Need to get some marketing initiatives put together, and maybe seperate our blog design work into a new brand, with package pricing.

As for special skills and talents, well, I hung some cabinets this weekend, and I`m not sore!  Yet!

Steve James Fresh Yields- a new media firm, providing ecommerce solutions, redesign consulting, web design, email campaign management, and internet marketing.

First of all, special thanks to Chris` Dippy Chick - once again I score at the BBQ party!! I found a few people dipping their fingers into the wasabi dip! I also used one of the spicy dip, sprinkled some on the rack of lamb and MMmmmm, it was awesome!!! Move over Yan Can Cook, here comes Meitzi!!

This week I am going to go through my business plan, to check if it`s `so-far-so-good` then moving on to the next section. 

Back to school night on Thursday. PTA meeting on Friday morning.  PWP meeting on Friday night.

Special talents - I play the piano, used to play clarinet and cello.  I love purchasing furnitures from IKEA so I can put them together myself, does that count as a skill??  an easy skill??

More planning and planning and planning. Have a trade show next week in Denver. Have to get my windshield replaced during the next few days before we leave. Also have to work on soliciting businesses for ads in a memory book for my upcoming High School`s 20th  Reunion.(On the reunion committee)  Ooops, just gave away my age. Ignore that last comment. 

Special Talent(s): A little piano,(not like Meitzi..just enough to please myself)trumpet was my major. A little poetry. I really can diagnose and repair just about anything in the home. (Not much that frightens me in that area) Even replaced my own sewer line! Primary skills: Conduit bending, Electrical lighting design and installation and a deep understanding of electrical systems. Weird talent: I am the only one I know that mows the lawn with an ever-changing unique pattern; Swirls, Circles, Sunbursts, Arcs, Compound Geometric forms........honestly, I`ll do anything to keep myself entertained!

Wow - First full week on here and getting great ideas to keep motivated.

Two main tasks this week - Register my new company with the Uk Government & set up the business bank account.

Has a consulting client pull out at the last minute this week - probably because I was a little niaive earlier in the year in giving too much information for free but have to take a view that it will free up time to take on new projects.

Special talent - Up to 5 years ago knowing 95% of the worlds capital cities - Don`t ask :-)
