Well, I`m heading back home to Vegas tomorrow and so I plan to get my suitcase closed . . . sit on it first, maybe, and then try again. Normally I am a light packer--a small carryon only, so this is a real chore. (Hey, I got four 50lb boxes packed already). I already did laundry, dishes, and visited with some friends that still reside in Illinois. I`ll probably not be online tomorrow because of travel so all of you will have to accomplish without me!

BTW......I am not a Looney!
When I first read your description, I thought it was going to be that
one bizarre bit where they`re standing there saying something about
"Ooooh fishy fishy fish!" and it just goes on for a few moments like
that. Sorry if that`s not much of a description of it, but that`s all I
can remember right now. It is a very strange sketch and I have never
really figured it out!Question of the week: What`s the funniest/weirdest pet name (dogs, cats, etc.) you`ve ever heard?
Nothing too crazy, other than just naming a dog "dog".I`m a day late, but my goal this week is to get a brochure design to the printer and contact a referral to set up an appointment. Pray that Tropical Storm Ernesto turns into a dud!
Love the thread on pet names. Lisa, I can so relate with you on the morphed names. We had a cat named Ichabod who became Itty Bitty Kitty. How about an Arabian horse whose registered name is "Sasshadim"? His Mom`s barn name (nickname) is Sass, so it`s actually Sass Had `im. His barn name is Beamer, and I usually call him Beamer-Bud. When we adopted our dog, she was called Betsey. That didn`t suit, so now she`s Kitah. We feeda Kitah or call her Kitah pita. Speaking of morphing nicknames, I often call Sass "Sassapootie Tootie Fruitie". We have a barn cat called Dickens (AKA Yittle Kittle) because she showed up at Christmas and she`s a little dickens. Over the years I`ve had a male cat named Rosemary, a female kitty named Buster and a dog named Dingo. (most all adopted strays) So yes, I guess I`m a weirdo too!
Oops - didn`t catch this till a day late; so, down here in page 3, I`m working hard this week to get our traveling computers ready for Fall classes (Kindergartners and Adults using the same computers...can you imagine the re-setting that needs to happen between classes?). Plus, refurbishing some old ones, so the kiddos can continue their at home computer adventures, while the "good" computers hit the road. Pre-season "dadministrating".
In our neighborhood, when we yell "Emily" - our dog comes running, but so do about 5 other children...we don`t pet them.
I have no pets at this time; however, my cat was "PeeWee" because he was female until the Vet explained otherwise, my dog was "Magoo" (a pug), the goldfish were "Smoochie""Kissypoo" and "Huggy", and the Las Vegas area water beetles are "Deadsuckers" along with their buddies, the scorpions and blackwidows.
