Hi folks:

I recently had the honor of being interviewed for the Startup Nation community podcast (http://www.startupnation.com/pages/podcasts/cp-inspired-ide as.asp) and I was curious if others agree that it is a good idea to put a Startup Nation Radio/Podcast player on the website (maybe the home page), so that people can quickly and easily listen to any of the previous shows online. I always get "fired up" when I hear the Sloan Bros. "Start it Up!," and I think others who have not yet heard the show or the Community podcasts will enjoy it.

I`m curious how other members feel about that.

I would have to vote for no player on the front page.
How could we fit it on the front page?

SuNs front page should be devoted to the newbie. I wouldn`t want them getting a hold of a community podcast and think .. hmmm this is what this place is all about. I would rather that they read all the possibilities first and then find the podcast page.

Thanks for your feedback. I was thinking of a small player that only takes up a little real estate. To me, the radio show and other podcasts are the backbone of StartupNation and it is what brought me into the site. If we did a poll, I wonder how many people could find the podcasts on StartupNation.com. If you look at my podcast player (on the left side of my site, The Imaging Buffet), that is the basic idea I am proposing. There could just be one player, or two, side by side, or just a little graphic that reads "Listen to StartupNation Radio!" which would lead to a page with a few players and links to subscribe.

its actually an audio podcast function on 10 Practical Steps link... if u look under Audio Intro an image right above 59sec...  i like it a lot... would love to use it for my own podcasts...
