I loved the Super Bowl`s half-time show last night!   Can it get really any better than Prince?  Prince, in the POURING rain!  He`s just THE coolest!  Now, how he relates to small-business, I am not sure.  I just wanted to say something, because, to me, he was the highlight of my TV viewing experience last night.  The commercials were just mediocre...trending in that direction each year in my opinion.  I don`t think I had a favorite.

Prince was great. I think I enjoyed this Halftime them others. I do remember Michael Jacksons show, and I thought it was great too. As far as the commercials, Go Daddy.com wasted their money.

And all I kept hearing about in the press was how godaddy.com kept getting their ads rejected by CBS. They were thrilled with that...gave them some publicity.  I understand they had to re-do them over and over to get them to approve that final version.  It did nothing for me, either.  I wonder how much additional traffic/business they will see...I guess we will never know.

I don`t know... I think Prince is a fabulous musician and producer, but really I think the half time show was just an OK performance from him. Maybe it`s because we are so "wow-ed" by the half time shows now that I am waiting for the Wow again.

But I was happy to see him perform.

Iouone2, I`m with you, I felt a little cheated by the whole thing last night, the commercials and the halftime show. It was all over and I was left sitting in the chair thinking "Is that all there is?". I wish Prince would have done a few more of the songs that are the reason he was up there, it just felt lacking to me. Right down to his costume, it was ok, but, how cool if it would have screamed "Purple Rain" to go with everything else in the closing number. . .

OK, but halftime show aside (and it was less than spectacular) weren`t you glad to see the Colts win?  I am not even a fan, but I always like to see a good quarterback and coach combo finally pull one down.  BUT I am an old Broncos fan and maybe it reminded me of Elway and Shanahan...

Yes, happy to see the Colts win...mainly for Manning.  He needed to be in, and win, a Super Bowl.   I think the only disappointment was that the half time shows are just not long enough!   I think that is why having Price cram in all of those songs into  a 7 or-so minute block, (or however long it was), doesn`t make it as good as it can be.  I have seen Prince a couple of times...most recently in the past year or so when he was last on tour, and back in 1984 when I was in high school during the "Purple Rain" tour.  He is just a great musician and definitely a great performer.  Get`s the crowd going!  I`d rather see him than Janet Jackson anyday.  Plus, he kept his clothes on!

I thought Prince was great, as always.  I was amazed at his dancers in those high-heeled boots on what looked like a slippery stage, Yikes!

I just love this web-site.  (New to StartUpNation) where else can you talk business and Price at the same time.

I really enjoyed the half time show.  It was nice seeing a real artist perform rather than a performer perform!  The girls dancing were outrageous and talented...I would of slipped right off the stage!
