We are a mother/daughter team trying to start a shoe line. How do you get your ideas from paper to a possible prototype? Where do we begin?

Look up the Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis, I know they are very successful. Maybe you could research the journey they took to become a quality business.

Hey Shoestar

I would simply look for a show manufacturer and show them the drawings. If you have enough info, then they will be able to give you a cost on a prototype. If you don’t, then hopefully they will tell you what you need.

That article that Leslie put up seems to have all the info that you need, though: well done, Leslie, for finding it!

Good luck with it Shoestar
