I am looking to switch platforms.

I have been looking at several platforms. I have narrowed it down to
ProStores and volusion. I like ProStores because I sell on eBay and they
have unlimited Storage and bandwidth. Volusion has a lot more features that
I like but the bandwidth and storage concerns me. They charge 7.00 for ea.
GB over you allotment. Has anyone worked with any of these platforms? If
so could you give me any insights between the two? Is ether one more SEO
friendly to work with? Besides these two do you recommend any others.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your time

Tim

Ok, so the first thing I realize when I visited your site is that you are an SMC retailer ... not a problem ... just an observation.

Secondly, do you carry, or are planning on carrying any other vendors besides SMC?

Thirdly, why are you only looking at Cart solutions that host your data base, cart solution, and web site?

Would it not be wiser to find a cart that provides a solution that allows you to grow and have your site site custom designed ... rather than a cookie cutter site?

There is a great new cart available ... very affordable ... and is proven to place you well in the search engines for virtually no SEO (search engine optimization) costs at all.

Check out the cart and the design at this site ... Click Here ... at see if this is something that you want your site to look like.

The cart offers drop shipping, gift certificates, unlimited categories and sub-categories (all user defined), multiple quantity discounts, defined discount codes, multiple shipping charges options, selected products -FREE Shipping, banner ads program, and a very proprietary program that will drive your site to the top of the search engines (proven by a number of web sites, including the one that you will visit).

And best of all, the cart and data base is fully developed ... and proven. No need for your designer to have to write complicated code (of which the designers using ZenCart and OSCommerce like because they can charge you big bucks for "their" customization.) ... the modules are already there, to be turned on or off.

And it integrates easily with a wide variety of Gateways, including Authorize.net, PayPal and others.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. These are not SMC products but I did use them a few years ago. Just did not care of the quality of the merchandise. I have been using this company for about three years and they have been a lot better.

Yes I do plan on expanding with different vendors and suppliers. Please explain what you’re talking about on your thirdly comment about the cart solutions. Yes I am trying to get away from the cookie cutter site. That is why I have been looking at ProStores and Volusion. I have talked to a few web designers that design on the ProStores platform.

On the website site you referred me to this is sort of what I am talking about. What platform is that website using I would like to look into that company.

Thanks for your time.

Any ProStores challengers out there? I have been using ProStores for over four years and I believe that their product has steadily increased in value. April 2011 ProStores announced a change in their plan pricing replacing the two plans with five different plans now.
