Great information!  Cartess3, thanks for the video and word tracker, the info is priceless.

It was interesting to see the list of words that bring people to your sight.  This has been helpful for me too.  I find that I don`t know enough about SEO yet to even ask the right question.  You asked a great question and got some really valuable information.  I`d be interested to hear the changes you made and how it affected your traffic and sales.

Best,

Vicki

onthebeach... keep reading this post string, and I will post an update as I end up with understandable information. I am sooooo new at the SEO thing too. But I am putting a lot of effort into it. Hopefully there will be a good return on my time investment.

It will probably be several weeks before I start noticing a pattern of more traffic and sales. But I will make a note here.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE STUFF!!  Sorry, I just couldn`t contain myself.  I just had an hour plus conversation with my web developer for my new business incorporated on Nov 17th and this information is priceless. It would take me forever to locate it even if I knew how to ask for it. Thanks iouone2 and others for the info and links!

DeadEye96... Glad you took something from the conversation. In your travels, if you find something interesting to add, I would love to hear it! Again, welcome!

You may want to look at some of Simon Leung`s websites. Simon was referred to me by a friend and business partner who recommends him highly. Simon worked for Google as a senior optimization specialist and recently left to persue a career as an Internet Marketing coach. The best way to find information about all Simon`s areas of expertise is via his myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/simonleung

Like you I am learning about SEO, but I have found his articles informative. There is so much out there in this topic it is hard to tell what is good and bad when you are just starting out. I am fortunate to have a friend who can direct me in this area.

onlineeater... Yes it is hard to understand truth VS. BS in the SEO market. Everyone conciders themselves and expert, or at least a pro. Until you use thier tactics and they don`t work. The point is to waste as little time as possible. Research, research, research is the only answer. Before starting my biz, I had no idea I was going to have to do the thing I hate the most... READ. I mean, that`s why I got into music! No reading! OK. You have to read some music, but that`s just dots on a page with very little rule breaking... (example: i before e except after C, or sounding like neigbor or weigh.)

Well, back to reading other posts and a few chapters from "Think & Grow Rich."
