Hi All,

We are preparing to invest in our promotional items. In connection with our website launch we will have contest giveaways. While we are thinking of investing in (or soliciting) one/two larger items, we would like to also like to have some highly desired creative promotional items. We want to provide an item that will be used, not collect dust, and is ideally related to our business (real estate investing)! These promotional items may also be mailed to certain supporters to announce the launch and also to say "Thank You."

What are the best promotional items that you have received?
Which promotional items do you think are most useful?
What would you like to receive as a promotional item?

Below are some ideas:
Post It Notes (Cubes or Smaller)
T-Shirts (Given to key people, family, friends, etc. wrapped in a special promotion...)
Measuring Tape
Note Pad
Eco-Friendly Items (Promoting our initiatives)
Homeowner Items
Umbrellas
Laser Pointers (Small Order sent to special target market)

Thanks for your feedback!

God Bless,

Tyra

Tyra:

I have a small letter opener on a magnet that sticks on my fridge. I use it every day. I can`t recall the name that is printed on it.

I have dozens of pens with company names on them. Can`t think of any of them right now. Do these thing actually lead to increased sales?

On the other hand, I have received some useful items (an insulated lunch bag, a baseball hat), with company logos, as thank-you`s. I use them often, but I don`t think these will influence future purchasing decisions.

But maybe that`s just me. After all, drug companies give away literally millions of dollars of freebies every year, and I don`t think they do it out of the goodness of their hearts!

Good luck!

Hi Tyra,

You are heading in the right direction regarding promotional products. When used properly, they can be great reminders for your prospects/customers to call YOU.

Everyone likes receiving something for free, and if they like it enough and it has a high perceived value, then they`ll use it a lot and your name will be out there for a long long time.

Some items that my customers seem to prefer are padfolios. Imprinted or embossed with your logo makes for a nice item, and they come in so many different price categories. Items that relate to real estate investing can be calculators, mortgage calculators, keychains, refrigerator word magnets, billfolds, money clips, nice polo shirts for you and your team to wear at tradeshows, you can even do compressed t-shirts that are in the shape of a house that can be giveaways to select people who come to your booth after bringing with them something that you send them initially, (this is a great way to drive traffic to your booth). I am sure you do seminars, and for your customers to walk away with a nice item will think highly of you, but after all it needs to generate a return.

If you let me know what events  you have coming up, I can do some brainstorming for you and send you pictures of items.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Hello Tyra,

We are back on Startup Nation after a few years in which time my husband and I have invented a product, created a manufacturing business and supply Thumballs to multiple users in every market including promotional markets.

If you want unique, creative and not going to collect dust then Thumball is for you. This is much more than balls with logos. We have patented both the apparatus and the method of play by utilizing every space on a soft soccer ball. We imprint each of the 32 panels with your message; a product line, your services, your values anything you want to say.

We started with 5 designs and now have 18 which promote conversation, inter-personal development etc. for every age and setting. Schools, homes and workplaces are creatively using Thumball to teach, inspire and market.
Your company could utilize one of our current designs and provide them as a fun interesting game that everyone can play. We can even imprint one of the panels with your brand or logo.

Better still for your business is the full customization route. Our prices may initially seem higher but the long lasting value can not be overstated. These are handcrafted, pleasingly squeezable safe colorful balls which can not be found anywhere else.

People love playing a round of catch. Then you stop and look at the panel under your thumb and respond to the question, word or graphic. We would love to work with you and come up with the perfect one-of-a-kind Thumball for you.

Check out our profile which will lead you to our website, blog and contact information. We are very excited for you and your new venture. Startup Nation really helped us get started three years ago and now our business is growing significantly.

Thumball will get everyone talking about your business!

It is no difficult to choose a Promotional Product. You have to be aware about your budget. You'll have to read the product reviews. There are huge list of inexpensive and low price promotional products avaliable, which are attractive, lovable and makes an excellent brand appearance when imprinted.

If you are an environment lover. Then you should certainly go for something that is Eco Friendlier.

Hi,

Most of the good and easiest promotional items are pens, keychains, lip balm & more which can be easily fit in your pocket.

Thanks.
