Hi All

I`ll be wrapping up my product shortly and will be moving to the prototype stage. My question is, someone told me I should seek a business consultant to hash out my business objectives. I have a good idea and plan on how i`m going to launch. Do you think it`s necessary to pay for this type of consulting? Are there steps inventors take to launch their product?

Thank you

I don`t think it`s "necessary." :-) Some people have a good understanding of business. Others have little experience. What you could certainly do, for free, would be to contact your local SCORE group and have a sit-down with them.

No.  If you are going to apply for a patent, do it before you offer the product for sale.
