Hey guys,

I just registered for this website and am really excited to propose an idea. I am graduating college this coming spring with a marketing BS and want to open my own business.

 

IDEA: I have always been a creative person. Always looking around at the world and trying to figure out how everything can be improved. A business idea I have always thought about is having a firm which has the sole function of being hired to help brands improve certain products they may feel have reached a dead end or need a "revamp". Now I'm sure there are many businesses like this in the world but I feel like it would be a perfect venture for me.

 

All I'm asking is for a little insight on the idea. This is a skeleton of an idea but thought it would suit me very well. Please offer some feedback on the idea as well as any companies you all may know of that would be very similar to this concept. Thank you all!

I really liked your idea, why don't you go forward with it. I know it might be difficult in the start but if this is what you really want, trust me do not waste time. 

I always wanted to start something of my own, but then i got married, got kids, it was just not possible. 

So go for it.

Your biggest issue will be convincing people to trust you. It is a common problem when starting out, so you will need to build a portfolio of companies you help.

 

Maybe you could do some free work to build up your portfolio.

But GaryBarzel stated that this is similar to a consultant in that they find strengths and weaknesses. But my idea is literally how to improve something and not merely identify the weaknesses.

Hey Dnooch381, I think so first of all you must find al the weaknesses of your product and make a comparison with other competitor’s product, then you can find that what you really need to do for improving you product popularity.
