Has anyone here had problems with Paypal not properly doing subscription payments?  I was looking at one of my member`s accounts recently and noticed that, although she had been a member for a year, the Paypal had only pulled out money and credited my account for about half the months.  I also looked at my monthly report and the numbers didn`t add up.  The amount of revenue for the month seemed impossibly low.  When I contacted paypal via email, they said, "Call us" - which I thought was weird since they usually send back an easy answer. Now I am wondering if there IS a problem.  I have run about 800 subscriptions through Paypal in the last 4 years.  If they have been "hit and miss", how in the WORLD will this get resolved???  If their software misses from time to time, they could potentially owe me thousands of dollars.

I still haven`t called them, but, before I do, I`d like to know if this has been a problem for anyone here?  I`m suddenly very worried about this.  I have always relied on Paypal to be doing, oh, what I have CONTRACTED with them to do and that`s pull money out of someone`s account on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Thanks!

~Kim

UPDATE!  Ah HA!  It`s their history that is sometimes the problem.  The software DID take the money out, but the history doesn`t show up.  That`s a PAIN for bookkeeping, though.    You can`t just download your history and assume it`s complete.

Thanks Edgar,
I have not personally had a problem with PayPal Pro, so I`m happy for the time being. I didn`t want to lay out a bunch of money yet for a merchant account and gateway. I may in the future, but for a small business like mine, it`s just fine for now. It`s a very convenient solution and until I get bigger or have problems with them, I`m staying put.
