In Safri (on a mac), the page content always extends beyond the bottom of
the page. You can scroll all the way down to the bottom, but there are
usually 2 or 3 lines that go below where you can scroll. For example, I can`t
read the description of the bottom forum listing, but I can see the link to it
at least. I`ve also noticed this when viewing threads, some of the bottom
post on each page is cut off.

Just thought I`d let you all know... Can anyone else using Safri verify this?

I run into the same issue quite a bit in Safari with quite a few sites as well as this one - so much so that I`ve switched the Firefox.  Although the Startupnation team is very attentive to any issues I`ve ever seen brought up, the rest of the webs` developers have weak Safari support for a few reasons (if they`re windows users, forget about it) and quite frankly, Safari renders things funny compared to Firefox and I.E.

I switched to Firefox, and my issues were all gone.  However, I miss the cool brushed interface - well, I did until I found this little trick.  Please forgive me, as I don`t know your level of tech skill and going step-by-step will help others if they read the thread.

Download Firefox if you haven`t already at http://www.getfirefox.com and install it (it`ll take no time on your mac).

Then, go to http://takebacktheweb.org/ and download the "GrApple Brushed" theme (you`re going to have scroll down the page a bit) by clicking the "install now" link. 

It may give you a dialog box to the effect of "are you sure?" and say yes.  Go to the "Tools" menu in Firefox, select "Themes" and click on "GrApple" which will now be there and "Use Theme."  Restart Firefox (nice thing about macs - don`t need to restart the machine) and voila - Firefox looks and feels like Safari

Personally, I like the rendering engine of Safri better. It`s based on
Konqueror (KHTML) and I`ve always felt it`s a great engine since way back in
my Linux days.

You might want to check out: http://www.caminobrowser.org/. It`s a
browser based on Firefox (Gecko actually, which is the Firefox engine) but
it`s written native for OS X UI.

No arguments there at all, and Camino is a good choice.  It`s already installed... just usually recommend Firefox because lots of people have heard of it and it`s an akin experience cross-platform.

Safari does have lots of advantages (much smoother rendering and scrolling, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.) - just gotta use FF for practicality due to the necessities of my daily grind... we always try to make the Safari experience on par with everything else unless the client has absolute demands (happens with some).
