Hi,

My partner and I recently got a Marketing Director on-board to complement the management team. Now his former employer contacted us that he signed a non-compete agreement and that he took their customer list with him. A big issue is that this Marketing Director arranged a deal with one of their former key customers. What would you recommend to solve this conflict?

Thanks for your advice.

M.P.

Absolutely get a lawyer involved.  Whenever you're dealing with contracts and potentially broken contracts it's wise to get legal counsel.

Check out lawpivot.com and maybe quora.com where there are some good lawyers answering questions.
