Hi everyone,

I`m holding a "Win a New Career" contest and want to issue a press release about it.

I`m totally new to press releases. I know there are a variety of services that say they will distribute your press release with widely varying rates.

Any suggestions on how to most economically get my press release out there to the right eyes?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

A good one that I`ve used in the past is PR Web, others here have also used it.  24-7 is another one you can try.

Yahoo - Press Releases

Hi Steve,

If you want some good results, you may want to take some extra time and target specific media venues. Find out who will be interested in your news and contact these media venues/reporters directly. Give them a good story to tell, and you`ll get more coverage.

For more information, check out all of the PR articles/information on this site under "Public Relations."

Thanks!

Melanie
