Caterina Fashions & Beauty Inc. Seeks Certified Venture Partner

New York, NY, December 29th, 2006 – Caterina Fashions & Beauty seeks to introduce and launch the Cara Mia almost Vegan cosmetics line via one of two infomercials to reach over 80 million households.  The firm seeks a dedicated, environmentally oriented partner for this venture.

One may ask themselves why invest in this is a venture worth investing in.  The more people have become aware of the damage that beauty products can cause long term to organs especially, alternatives are sought and at reasonable prices  Also, as more is known about the effects of chemicals and such in products, people are going to be looking for reasonably priced natural alternatives.  From the July issue of Cosmetics Design comes a report that personal care products labeled as "natural" or "organic" have shown double digit sales growth over the last three years.  Highlights include that the natural personal care market had: "an estimated value of $5 billion in 2004 as consumers seek out chemical-free alternatives"...[and have]..."grown by a total of 50 per cent since 2000". WASHINGTON, DC, Oct 18, 2006/We can proudly say the following.  Manufacturing is done without any animal testing at all. The only animal by-product that is used is beeswax, in potted and liquid gloss. 95% of the products are actually vegan. Paper, glass, and plastics are recycled, and our customers are asked to do the same.

The firm will work with Infoworx, who has been in business since 1992. Packages start at $35,000 and will have you in the air in about 8 weeks.  It includes, script and offer development, award winning production and direction, professional, experienced infomercial host.  In addition, there is no initial charge for them to walk our product into one of the top network. In fact, they will represent the firm for 6 months, free of charge. If your product measures up to their criteria for success, they’ll negotiate the best terms, best airtime, even the most appropriate host.

If interested, please contact us and let’s make money together while changing the world.

Hi Katt33--
I guess my concern is: where are you placing this news release? I could see this developed into some investor materials or placed with search engines. I could also see this shaped into a letter aimed at potential investors.
(Here`s my but.) I don`t really see the news value if you`re trying to place this release with media outlets.
I think you find the hook... what`s the benefit... why will the reader go beyond the first paragraph? There are several news elements in your release: growth of environmentally sound makeup, an introduction of a new line of makeup, I guess, even the infomercial might be a little newsworthy. (Although I might try to spin it as a "televised information campaign about almost-vegan makeup.")
Over all, though, I`m not sure if this is a news release to find venture funds, or new products, or a plug for Infoworks. If I`m an editor, I probably won`t go near it.
Not trying to be a downer. I just think that if you focus this, it will be far more effective.

I have to agree. As I made editorial shifts, I kept wondering why is this a "news" release? It`s more an announcement, but also like an opening argument in making a case for....something. Swaynester has hit the nail on the head, though, with the specific questions.

The goal is to let people know that they have a venue coming that they can utilize and advertise on the mediums I am planning on launching/purchasing.  The company who will work with me on the infomercials and the people whom I plan to purchase the station from once investors have invested said I could take pieces from their press release, combine with my ideas and after they approved the release, thought it was done well, release it.  That is what I plan to do.  I will go back and refine it further.  Again Thank You.

As I looked at it again, I see what you mean.  For this release my goal is to find an equity partner for this venture. I will tweak as per suggestions made.
