I loved reading the post that entreprenerd put up yesterday about really wrong predictions.

It got me thinking about making a good and seemingly outrageous prediction. One that I actually think will come true.

How about ...

DNA testing will be possible in every home. The biggest use will be to determine which family member raided the refrigerator late last night.

Got any to share?

Joel,

I remember seeing on some cable show that "in the future," we`ll be able to apply a thin film on the walls insinde you house and it will act as your television.

Dow already has been engineering something like this using nanotech.

I predict (and hope with all my might!) that they will invent a safe and proven pill that will allow me to eat like I really really want to, and not gain a pound!

I predict that someday in the near future you`ll be able to surf the SuN site from your bubble bath on a flatscreen monitor, and use your soap as a mouse.

`Wait, it`s CraigL writing in - maybe I`ll submerge and just get it over with...`

Kidding, of course. I just don`t see myself all lathered up and posting a response to a guy.

Nikole, now, that`s another story...

I predict balding men will become highly respected members of society, showered with gold and jewels....and used as a secondary source of lighting (for those hard to light places).

Craig, my once-furry little philosopher friend:

`Balding`? I believe that train left the hair-station quite a few miles back...

I predict nanotechnology will produce robotic hair that not only covers and warms the pate, but also will be extensible, reaching out to pluck unprotected Hostess Ho-Ho`s from unsuspecting children`s hands.

Yah, like my stomach maybe!! The thinner part. It`s already plenty good, so it doesn`t have to get better...
