Hello,

I have been listening to the podcast for a little while now and decided to join the forum.  I am an IT.  I am looking into starting an IT consultant company.  I would want to do Network Infrastructure Design/Development/Support.  I would also offer proprieatary software that I am currently designing for the venture.  Basically I am someone who is very passionate about the industry, I spend most of my free time, working on my personal computers and learning new things, so I am very self-motivated on keeping up with things.   Just thought I`d stop by and see if I can learn a thing or two about starting the company up.

Thank you,

Nathan Dunn

Hi Nathan,

I think the VendorFlow idea is great, but you should know about a couple of other options for IT types:

http://www.OnForce.com (interviewed right here on StartupNation)
and

Best wishes - I just joined myself - looking forward to the interactions.

Nathan,

Congrats on your proposed venture.  Choose a business entity carefully, and make sure that you have a client services agreement that is tailored specifically to your services, and which protects your intellectual property.
