Maybe I sound stupid ... but what are you folks
talking about??


Rather than speaking "geek-eeze" ... just speak English for us lay
folk.



Web 2.0 is what we geeks are referring to when we talk about the
next big technolological advancements and trends that are both
emerging and being speculated about. You`ve probably seen some
popular Web 2.0 stuff with Google Maps, and Google Earth but that`s
just the tip of the iceberg. It boils down to trying to make interaction
with the internet more real-time, rather than the familiar "click, wait,
view" process we`re all familiar with, Web 2.0 is a push to create
technology that makes interaction more like working with
applications directly on your desktop... and less like working inside
of a web browser.

It`s much bigger than that, but you asked for the "geek-eze" to
"English" translation. :)
