My challenge is to write an ad that is so well targeted and so appealing that you can't help but click on it.

As an example, have you noticed the "BizFilings" ads in this thread or have you just scrolled past them?  At first glance I thought they were ads for office furniture.  As I read the copy, I thought they were for business insurance.  And finally, I assumed they were for legal services.

It's like the quote from Mark Twain "If I Had More Time, I Would Have Written You a Shorter Letter".   It takes so much skill to condense your message to the bare minimum and still communicate well.

I would say it's where to start and the technical side of the free forms of online marketing. That was my first challenge almost 2 years ago and what I see most people struggling with.

I think a lot of marketers in small companies lack the time and the technical resources to take advantage of the opportunities offered by some online marketing techniques. With PPC in particular, you're asking for a lot of expertise in copy, web design and development, and analytics. Expensive to outsource.

Earning the first dollar in commissions was pretty tough. Learning how to progress with Internet marketing when you first start out is a challenge in itself.

The hardest thing to do now is figure out what the best use of my time is in the wide range of tasks that I could be doing throughout a typical day.

I don't care where my traffic comes from as long as it builds my list.

I'd like forums where I can post signatures.  I use quite a few forums but a lot of them don't accept signatures so I haven't been active with them.

I'd also like to hire someone who can adopt my writing style and write an article every day and post it to all of the social media outfits.

OH... Guest Blogging.  I'd like to do more guest blogging.  I've only done guest blogs on smaller websites but would like to do more on larger ones.  What are your suggestions for this?
