Hello Budgetmailboxes,

At first look the site looks real nice. Very well organized. I did notice that once I started trying to find product detail, thing got a little weird. The left column navigation seems to go on forever. You`ll need to bust up that list into categories, sub categories and sub sub categories.
One example would be:

SHOP by Price
                1 to 10
                11 to 20
Shop Residential

Shop Commercial

Shop by Manufacturer

Don`t try to give visitors every link you have up front. You need to lead them down the path to the buy button. Also called the sales funnel.

When I did get to the product page it was difficult at first to sort out what was product detail, what was options, and what was just filler.

Nice looking site!

I agree with Dave; it seems to me that the main issue is categorization.

I went to the site, got the concept, and started a process. But the "drill-down" from the front page was click after click after click after click. By the time I got to a single product, I was pretty irritated.

Then, at that final product selection point, there was very little real information about the actual mailbox (SI-103 Westchester Brass).

What I`m thinking is that both on the left-navigation bar, and in the overall process itself you might be able to better categorize your product.

For example, on the main page you have an excellent breakout of 4 categories. Simple, easy to understand, and fast. I chose residential.

What would then make sense is to have your "under $this" as a dropdown text only list. In other words, you don`t need pictures for the drill-down process, only words and links.

So I could go to Residential, see a list based on budget. Choose a number, click, and then get another list.  That list would have to be figured out based on "key attributes." I would suggest not using brand names, since most people looking for a mailbox have no familiarity with brands.

You could put "Shop by Brand" as a category in your left-side navigation to cover those people who actually do have a brand in mind.

The intent is to get someone to a particular mailbox within 3 clicks at the very most.
