One caution about GoDaddy dedicated servers - they are not backed up by GoDaddy like the shared hosting is.  Basically, you are renting a PC running Windows Server or Linux/Apache that is connected to a fat internet pipe.  You are solely responsible for the content of the hard disk, including keeping a backup.  That`s not usually a problem because your programmer should have backups anyway.

If your server crashes, GoDaddy will replace the disk or the whole server and O/S, but you need to reload your files.

Hi Katherine

I have used a number of Godaddy products, but not the dedicated server and SSL.

sorry,
Mike
