I took the advice of SUN and made specific changes to my site. Please give an honest opinion of the overall site. Is it easy to navigate? Do you have any additional questions after reviewing the site? Is there enough information? Did you expect to see specific links that weren`t there? Do the prices seem reasonable? Would you list the prices of the classes online?

Thanks SUN.

Ayishah,
Your site looks super, is easy to navigate and your business serves an awesome need for many parents.  You will do well in this niche market.  I recommend putting together a series of articles about bilingual education and submitting to article submission sites such as www.ezinearticles.com (first 10 articles are free) to get the search engines to see you.  Will help your page rank and place on the indexes.

Good luck!

Hi Ayishah, I didn`t see your original critque request so my apologies if I am referencing or suggesting things that were already covered in the original post.

I think it is great that you posted the prices.  The reason:  I would have immediately thought that the prices would be higher for the classes and maybe not attianable for families to get their children into these classes.  I like the prices a lot, I think they are extremely reasonable.  *One question on the childrens page.  What does min./max. stand for - - Minimum and Maximum # of children /class or Min/Max # of classes?  I was a little unclear on that.

On the Adult page it might be a good idea to include some of the information you have on the corporate page for preparing for international travel.  I immediately thought of a family trip abroad and needing some skills above basic or honeymooners, etc.

I also liked the statistics about children and cognitive learning skills developing at an early age.  Maybe on the FAQ section or somewhere on the children`s page you could give some stats on how frequently they should be attending classes and for how long to reach certain thresholds.  But not too overwhelming though because your site is so nice and clean for someone navigating around.

I don`t recall seeing any testimonials on the site.  If this is a new business I would recommend getting testimonials from as many people as possible and post them to your site as they come in.  Otherwise, ask past clients if you can get permission to publish a testimonial.

Great site, great service.  Good luck to you.  I`m sure you`ll do well!

Thanks for the comments. I am happy that the site is easy to navigate. I will clarify some of the questions listed here. Although, I think my program is great, I am having a hard time getting clients. I have marketed to local daycare centers, via postcards & phone calls, but have not received a positive response. Maybe I should go door to door?

I am trying to find the ideal location so that parents can bring their children. Any suggestions on how to determine the "locale"? I am talking to my local YMCA to see if I can start a program there. My community center has brushed me off more than 2 times, so I am a little discouraged by that. Help?????

Thanks for your suggestions. For those who did not know about my first post, my site is

Hmmm I am surprised that you aren`t having more doors open.  These are just thoughts and don`t know if they would work but for meeting locations try your local churchs/places of worship, community centers, boys & girls clubs, etc.

I just thought of something else, what are you promoting most, ESL or foriegn languages to English only speakers?   I would think that there would be a huge need for the ESL if you could reach that target market.  Especially if you can convey thru statistics the number of opportunities a person would have in terms of employment advancement and helping with childrens school work, etc.  If that is a route you are involved in or do consider there are probably lots of activist group you could find.  Even employers might see the benefit of their employees gaining better English speaking skills or Spanish speaking skills.

I would join a networking group, join your chamber of commerce, run a classified in your local community magazine, and just start pounding the pavement.  Go into your local eateries or shops and just start asking anyone who will talk to you what they think of your business and do they know anyone who would benefit.

Do you have charter schools there?  The parents might be easier to reach than via the public schools since there tend to be less students.  What about after school tutoring for kids already in foriegn language class and need to bump up their grades?

(This is just another thought.  I think it was a local utility company out here in AZ that pays more to bilingual speakers.  If you could find statistics or stories on this by googling that could give credibility to your arguement as well.)

I am obviously all over the board and one main key to success is focus but I just think that you need to get the word out.  So, my apologies if I`ve just made your road very curvy!
